The extermination of the models is fair and color-blind. Think about any random buzzword - leptoquarks, W' bosons, Z' bosons, preons, very low-mass superpartners ... light black holes, fourth generation quarks, and so on, and so on. All these things and many others, as long as their proponents linked them to a sub-TeV energy scale, are approaching extinction. People may be unhappy but a scientist should ultimately be happy about any truth he or she learns about Nature.Mottle
