The new desk is of course rather noisy, but it is a luxury being able to spread numerous papers across it. I have started working again on the topical relation between twistor QFT and higher operad polytopes.
The weather was fine enough today to view the bay from the train. Usually the waves are so high that they continually splash the train's dirt encrusted windows. I am wondering what would happen with a large Earthquake. Assuming the train did not immediately derail into the ocean, and assuming that my legs were not broken, I think I could climb the steep hill on the other side of the train before the tsunami.

Why not just use a board from the train wreckage to surf the tsunami up the hill?
ReplyDeleteThe hill is VERY steep. It would require scrambling, not surfing.
