Hypothesis Update

In light of the new results, which indicate perfect CPT behaviour for all particles in the standard spectrum, we shall now work with the following updated hypothesis:

The CMB photons still result from the conjugated Koide phase, with respect to the neutrino masses. This requires us to give up the direct mass-temperature correspondence, but still allows us to say that mirror neutrinos are responsible for the CMB. In fact, everything is more symmetrical this way. We don't see the mirror neutrinos because they are too busy being photons.

  1. Moreover, the mirror neutrinos could still explain why MINOS continue to obtain an anomalously high figure for the $\Delta m^2$; because they appear in the antineutrino data.

  2. But a photon doesn`t look like a mirror of the neutrino, it is more like a superpartner, given that one is a boson and the other is a fermion.

    As I said before, I am willing to accept the old idea of the neutrino, just that its cross section with normal matter is much, much smaller than those of normal neutrinos.

  3. Daniel, obviously I don't mean that the photon IS a neutrino. A photon can be associated to an annihilating pair of fermions. The cross section idea is not right, I think. Mirror matter is associated to dark matter, not to ordinary matter. We should not have to calculate ordinary cross sections for it, because its affects show up in different ways.

  4. Kea, have you got some references about Koide phases and the Koide formula and generalizations? I have discovered recently Koide formula and I am just surprised about its amazing precision.

  5. Marni, I meant that the cross section of mirror matter with normal matter and not mirror with mirror matter.

  6. Juan, many of the references on this blog are about the Koide formula and phases. You can search terms. Yes, Daniel, obviously. Sigh. And what I said still stands.

  7. Yeah, but I found what is the Koide formula, but, what a Koide phase is? It could be nice to make a post on that. After all, it is more phenomenologically interesting that SM fits or parameter estimations on Higgs masses. I am sure you could do a great and wonderful introduction here! What do you think?
    By the way, the mirror matter you mentioned, is it similar to the mirror matter Sigaladze proposed too some years ago? :D

  8. Juan, as I said, many of the posts and links here are about Koide phases. Just type Koide phase in the search box. And FFS, don't tell a blogger what they should or should not write about. As I said before, I do not write this blog for the amusement of entitled dudes.
