Bloody Battlefield

Dr Gibbs may be a bootstrapper, rather than a HEP surgeon, but we appreciate his hard work! He has now declared the Standard Model dead, with an unofficial exclusion of fairy fields.

    And to all those bandwagon critics of the stringers, who thought the SM was a golden calf ... I wonder what they are thinking now? Oh, hello CERN, again. You know, I could still do with that desk to sleep under.

    Golden Calf priest, Woity Toity, says today: if this continues, ALL models that make predictions about LHC scale physics different than the SM will be falsified.
