Theory Update 25
Resonaances points us to an interesting new analysis of the CKM anomalies. The paper argues that the parameter is given by a non standard value, below the one obtained with an ordinary parameterisation. Previously here we have not bothered looking at this value, which is distinct from the case, but checking now the complex matrix we find a value of equal to . This agrees with the non standard preferred value, measured at . Recall that the arithmetic mixing matrix uses only three real parameters to determine the physical quantities of the CKM matrix.
